Teens & tweens can drop in to the Beaumont Branch this summer to make their own "Wreck this Journal"! Using blank notebooks, participants will create their own, customized journaling pages (examples include: "Create a collage of only blue things" or "Draw a really ugly picture", etc.). Snacks and materials will be provided while supplies last. No registration required.
Want to join a book club but don't want to be required to read the same book as everyone else? Stop by the Beaumont to try our book club, Hooked on Books. Each month, we will discuss books in a different genre and everyone will talk about the book they chose to read. This month we will be reading historical fiction set before 1850. Spoilers may occur, so please be advised!

The group meets twice monthly on Tuesdays mornings at 11:00 am in our small meeting room except during December around the holidays. Books are usually provided by the library, but occasionally titles are selected for reading which the library does not own in sufficient quantity. The schedule is also subject to change without notice due to unavailability of titles. Suggestions for titles are always welcomed!
Due to the size of the magnets used for this project, however, the program may not be suitable for small children. Adult discretion is advised.
