3D printers
3D print items with a maximum size of 9.8x8.2x8.6 inches. PLA filament must be purchased from staff in the space.
Large-format printers/cutter
Print large designs on paper and vinyl. The Eastside Makerspace’s 24” printer is compatible with paper, photo paper, and banner vinyl. The Marksbury Family Branch Makerspace’s 20” printer is compatible with photo paper, sticker paper, banner vinyl, and heat transfer vinyl. Paper and vinyl are available for purchase and are priced per linear foot.

Scan and digitize documents, family photographs, and other print items. 16 and 32 GB flash drives are available for purchase, but you may need to bring additional storage depending on the size of the project.

Sublimation printer
Print designs for t-shirts, mugs, and more. Sublimation paper (3.5x9”, 8.5x11”, and 8.5x14”) and butcher paper (4x9” and 12x12”) are available for purchase. Please supply your own personal items on which you'll be adding or transferring your design.

St. Paul Catholic Church is one of the oldest existing churches in Lexington. The records for the parish go back to 1854. The ledgers are part of the church's historical archive, and contain unique records for Lexington's history. Bishop Stowe, the bishop of the Lexington diocese, has given permission for ledger records 100+ years old to be made public. St. Paul Catholic Church marriage ledgers contain marriages over the years 1854 to 1925.

The Lexington Public Library offers an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service which allows cardholders in good standing to borrow books and receive copies of articles we do not own and cannot purchase. Our borrowing network includes over 4,000 participating public and academic libraries.
The Daily Lexington Atlas ran from late 1847 through early 1849 and was Lexington’s first daily paper, and the first to publish information from the telegraph lines. It is described by William Perrin in his 1882 History of Fayette County Kentucky as a “red-hot Whig and fiery southern” publication. It contains some articles and editorials that are overtly racist, as the editors favored slavery, then emancipation only if the freed African Americans were immediately sent to Liberia. It covers the 1848 presidential election and the local election for Kentucky Governor. Perrin claims the paper had an extensive subscriber list, but had to “give up the ghost after several months disastrous experience” due to the expense of the paper.
