Where I'm From

We're collecting your poems for a project that encourages Kentuckians to celebrate place and identity using Poet Laureate George Ella Lyon’s poem “Where I’m From” for inspiration.

I am from the forsythia bush, the Dutch elm whose long-gone limbs I remember as if they were my own.
