Mission Statement
The Young Professional’s Committee dedicates itself to supporting the continued expansion and enhancement of the Lexington Public Library, its programs and services, as a major community asset, providing individuals and companies the ability to compete in the society of today and succeed in the landscape of tomorrow. Along with the library we would strive to serve the citizen’s of the entire county and to guarantee the civic right of all Fayette County citizens to information – regardless of their personal, social, educational or economic differences. We plan to achieve this vision by inviting Lexington’s young professional community to events and fundraisers, or to act as sponsors, in order to develop a strong and lasting relationship with the library. We hope this relationship would further fund projects the library needs and those we find inspiring.
