Lex Play Pac-Man Tournament

Lexington is home to so many rad classic Pac-man and Ms. Pac-man arcade cabinets - this April, explore your city to find one, and play for the glory of the highest score! Yes, you read that right - in conjunction with our One Book One Bluegrass celebration of Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, the Lexington Public Library wants you to go play video games. We’ll supply a starter list of known Pac-man and Ms. Pac-man arcade cabinets around town - find one near you, and get to playing! Snap a photo of your highest score screen; and upload it to, or tag it on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #lexpacman14 with your 3 initials as your alias. We’ll add you to our high score list for all of Lexington to admire! At the end of the month, we’ll crown two winners - one chosen at random from all participants, and the Lex Play Pac-Man King or Queen with the highest score of all! As April approaches, keep an eye on the library's Facebook and Twitter pages, or, for the list of Pac-man and Ms. Pac-man locations in Lexington, and for more information about the tournament.
