Lexington, Kentucky (January 16, 2024) – Lexington Public Library is proud to announce their new Black Voices Book Club which is dedicated to discussing literary works by black authors. The Club meets on the third Saturday of each month.

December 21st is the Winter Solstice, so we'll be celebrating with the "Winter Solstice Feast Edition"! Members can choose a recipe from one of the comfort food themed cookbooks provided or use their own recipe to contribute a dish. If it's your first time, you can simply come to taste, discuss, and enjoy!

As winter break begins, a group of sorority sisters begin to receive anonymous phone calls. Initially, Barb eggs the caller on, but stops when he responds threateningly. Soon, one of the girls Clare goes missing from the sorority house, and a local adolescent girl is murdered, leading the girls to suspect a serial killer is on the loose. But no one realizes just how near the culprit is.

We'll have music, guided exercises to get your creativity flowing, and a supportive environment for learning. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver. Please note that we will be building with the classic Lego bricks that contain small parts.
