All events are free.

Kick-off Parties

Welcome summer by picking up your Discover Summer challenge, meeting nearly a dozen Honey Hill Petting Zoo critters, and enjoying hands-on fun. Incoming kindergarteners are V.I.P.s and will enjoy special Countdown to Kindergarten activities! For all kids.

 

Animal Architects

Join us for an up-close view of a variety of exotic animals from around the world! Lean about each animal's unique ability to build & construct for survival in the wild.

 

Math-terpiece Workshop

Tessellations, geoboards, Mobius strips & more hands-on activities add up a beautiful blend of art & math. For ages 6-12. Registration required.

GRAMMY nominee Zak Morgan's unique brand of children's music delivers songs with charm that tickle the funny bone of children and adults alike.

 

Wonders of the Deep

Deep in the ocean, some special creatures rely on bioluminescence (the ability to glow in the dark) for their survival. Meet some of these deep ocean dwellers with hands-on science & art activities. For ages 6-12. Registration required.

Library CSI: Crime Solvers

Put on your detective's hat to solve a puzzling crime while learning about fingerprinting, secret codes, tracks, eyewitness interviews, & more. For ages 6-12. Registration required.

 

Learn to Cartoon with Steve Harpster

Anyone can learn to draw with help from cartoonist Steve Harpster. Watch, laugh, & draw along to make your own creations.

 

Wrap Up Parties

It's YOUR pick!  Kids are voting to pick the Wrap Up Party for their branch!  Come join us for the fun and celebrate the end of summer.
