Quick Instructions on Downloading eBooks from Overdrive

Here are a few quick steps to get your started downloading eBooks.

1. Visit our website http://www.lexpublib.org [1]
2. Click the "eLibrary" link in the left menu.
3. Click on "Overdrive eBooks" or "Search for eBooks"
4. Click “Login” at top menu.
5. Enter your library card [2] number and PIN [3].  (Your PIN [3] is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number.)
6. Search for books to place in your cart or place on hold. If a cart icon is visible, that means the book is available for download right now.
7. It the book is on hold, you will receive an e-mail when it becomes available and you may download the item.

On a side note, once you have logged in successfully, you can adjust your lending period to either 7 or 14 days, depending on how long you need to read the item.
