Corporate Partners Program

Lexington Public Library is funded, in part, by the individual donations of thousands of citizens from all over the country – people who are moved by the tremendous need in our community and the enormous good that the Lexington Public Library has done over the years.

For many years, Lexington Public Library has been the recipient of in-kind and financial support from corporations across Kentucky.

Now, Lexington Public Library is reaching out to corporate America to help fund its vital work. Corporate Literacy Partners is a program that seeks to recognize the contributions of corporations and their employees in making Lexington Public Library an even more effective force.

How it Works

Companies wanting to be a Corporate Literacy Partner are asked to make a meaningful cash donation to Lexington Public Library. They are also asked to help educate their employees about Lexington Public Library’s work by sharing literature with them. The workforce is then allowed the opportunity of making a donation to Lexington Public Library through payroll deduction.

Workforce Development

Research has shown that consumers feel more inclined to do business with philanthropic companies and are more likely to purchase the goods they manufacture and services they provide. The benefits for our Literacy Partners are tangible and real.
