Important note to customers receiving the Lexington Public Library calendar by mail:
We are going Green at the Library.
In order to reduce the amount of paper used by the
Library and to save money, the Library’s calendar now
will be available through the following methods:
- The calendar is available free at the Library’s website: www.lexpublib.org
- The calendar is available free by e-mail NextReads subscription. Sign-up at www.lexpublib.org/nextreads
- Free printed copies are available at all six library locations.
- Print calendars will only be mailed to Friends of the Library members.
If you’d like to receive and e-mail version of our calendar of events, sign up for our NextReads service. You’ll find Library Programs for Adults, Picture Books and Children’s Programs and Young Adult Books and Programs among the many newsletters to choose from.
PLEASE NOTE: Reservations for programs will be accepted only up to two weeks in advance.

iMovie/iDVD

Learn how to use iMovie to edit your own video. We’ll show you how to cut out video you don’t want, add music and add titles and effects. Once your movie is done, we’ll show you how to use iDVD to create your own DVD with personalized menus, music and animated graphics. This is a great class for beginners. No prerequisites

Resume Assistance
Eagle Creek Branch, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Free one-on-one help with resumes and online job applications. Receive five free copies on resume paper and your resume on a disk to take with you. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no assistance on Thursday, November 26 due to Thanksgiving.
