The Marksbury Family Branch Makerspace is an inclusive space where customers of all ages can come to learn, create, and explore together, free of charge. Outfitted with current high-tech and low-tech tools, the Makerspace is designed to promote education and cultivate a do-it-yourself spirit for the whole family.
New visitors are asked to complete the Experiential Learning Agreement and Equipment Use Policy before use.
Open Studio is a regular time for creators to use the Makerspace to work on individual or group projects. This space also hosts a variety of programs, listed in the events section below.
Marksbury Family Branch Open Studio hours are Monday and Tuesday, 11:30am – 6:30pm and the second and fourth Saturday and Sunday of each month, 1:30 – 4:30pm.
Supplies like buttons and PLA filament are available to purchase from staff in the Marksbury Family Branch Makerspace. Equipment like the Cricut Maker, sewing machines, and embroidery machine may be used with your own materials free of charge.
